People may already be familiar with Bali, Indonesia, and its diverse natural beauty, but Lombok is another stunning island paradise to the east. Lombok is just as gorgeous as its neighbors, although not having as much fame. One of the most popular tourist locations in Indonesia is Lombok, which offers a variety of attractions, including waterfalls, mountains, and beaches.
Here are 10 places we think you should see when in Lombok.
1. Sade Village
Sade Village is the oldest village on the island of Lombok. The Sasak tribe of Lombok continues to live in the village, which serves as more than just a tourist destination. You will gain a great deal of knowledge about Lombok island's customs, traditions, arts and crafts culture, and manners when you visit the village.
Tanjung Ann Beach is located in the village of Pujut, Kuta District, Central Lombok.
Tanjung Aan Beach has a lovely outlook, although it's still very quiet there. Tanjung Aan Beach offers a variety of activities, including diving, surfing, and tanning. Several beaches, including Kuta Beach, Seger Beach, Serenting Beach, and Gerupuk Beach, are frequented by tourists in addition to Tanjung Aan Beach. Visit The Hill of Merese when you are in Tanjung Ann Beach. Merese's hills are renowned for their stunning hills, expansive meadows, and sweeping sea views. One of the nicest and most popular places to watch the sunset is on the hills of Merese.

4. Selong Belanak Beach

An active, continually smoldering volcano, Mount Rinjani. It is Indonesia's second-highest volcano, rising 3,726 meters. However, anyone would still be tempted to climb it due to its breathtaking natural beauty. Segara Anak Lake is a location that climbers should not skip when ascending Mount Rinjani. The Sembalun Ascent and the Senaru Ascent are the two ascent routes that lead to this lovely lake. Segara Anak Lake can be reached by the Senaru Climbing Trail in at least 7 hours, compared to the Sembalun Climbing Trail's minimum time requirement of 8 hours.

No wonder this mountain range is referred to as "land above the clouds" because you can enjoy it before sunrise.
7. Senggigi Beach
In all of Lombok, Senggigi beach is regarded as the top tourist destination. About 50 km separates sheet harbor from this beach. As a popular tourist destination, this location has several nearby sporting facilities. 8. Benang Kelambu and Benang stokel Waterfalls
This waterfall originates in the forest at the base of Mount Rinjani, flows south, and empties directly into the region of the Central Lombok Regency. Similar to two sides of a coin, Benang Kelambu Waterfall cannot be separated its existence with Benang Stokel Waterfall. This is due to the fact that the location is still nearby. The two waterfalls are visited by almost all confirmed guests. The number and height of the waterfalls are readily distinguishable between the Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu waterfalls. Benang Kelambu Waterfall is smaller than Benang Stokel Waterfall, which is roughly 30 meters high.
9. The Gili Islands
These three Gili islands are in North Lombok and are near to one another. There are 800 people living in Gili Trawangan, which has a three kilometers area and a two kilometers width. Compared to other gilis, Gili Trawangan offers the most comprehensive resort. Gili Meno is the least populated of the three islands in this group, whereas Gili Trawangan is the busiest. While Gili Trawangan appears more like a tourist destination, Gili Meno offers more tranquil surroundings in addition to excellent diving chances. In the middle of the group, on the smallest island with the fewest people, is Meno. Gili Air is the ideal fusion of Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan. However, Gili Air also offers a friendly atmosphere like Gili Meno. Here you can also enjoy the view of the open sea without being hindered by the Lombok Mountains on the North Coast.

A day or two journeys to Lombok won't be enough time to explore everything because the island has so many stunning natural landmarks. You can explore and go to a variety of additional natural areas and culinary tours in Lombok. There’s a quote from E-S. Woods “A vacation helps to relieve stress and boredom, gives us a change of scenery, provides us with adventure, and helps to bring us closer to the people in our lives. Hope we can travel as much as we can and enjoy our life.
